On June 27th Linda Hamilton visited The Coalition Studio (home of the Gears franchise) to meet with the studio head; Rod Fergusson. Presumably Linda was there to add some finishing touches to her characters appearance, or this was purely just a part of the press machine; to push the pre-order sales of Gears 5 and the sign up/subscription to XBOX Game Pass – as subscribers to Game Pass get Early Access to play as Sarah Connor and the T-800.
The Terminator: Dark Fate character pack also comes with additional customization items along with the two core character skins.

Regardless of the success, or box office takings of Terminator: Dark Fate; we hope the studios will greenlight some Terminator games soon, games that allow players to play as Sarah Connor or the T-800 and have an immersive story and strong online multiplayer options.
Skins and DLC’s are nice but the Terminator franchise is showing a lack of confidence in its product and the gaming market to not greenlight large scale game productions. A new game doesn’t have to follow the movie – tell the story in between movies or what happened between T2 and Dark Fate.
We need a major third-person game, and a separate FPS game production but for now this will stave off some hunger.
