Universal Studios Japan have unveiled new food menu items for their 20th Anniversary “NO LIMIT!” Celebration. One of the items is a Terminator inspired bun which, of course, is a compliment to the much loved T2-3D: Battle Across Time attraction. Although the Terminator 2 theme park ride / attraction was shut down at other Universal Studios resorts; the ride is still surviving in Japan.
The upcoming Skydance / Netflix partnered Terminator Anime series which was recently announced may also extend the life-span of the ride in Japan – which can only be a good thing.
We at Universal Studios Japan want to make Japan [super-energetic]!
Since its opening on March 31, 2001, Universal Studios Japan has been pursuing the best entertainment in the world, providing excitement and excitement beyond the imagination of its guests.
As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of our opening this year, we have renewed our company message to “NO LIMIT!”. From now on, we will provide a stimulating experience with no limits, along with a spirit of challenge that never sets limits. And, through the piercing entertainment that only we can create, we aim to be a theme park where guests can break their shells (limits) and become [super-energetic] by delivering super-impression and super-excitement that guests have never experienced. To go.“May Japan be more energetic and more free.”

DA-DA-DUN-DA-BUN Black Pepper Beef Bun
Official Description (translated):
When ordering, I’m likely to hum that melody!
In the metal-like bun with the image of a terminator, there is a black filling reminiscent of liquid metal …!
Sales location: NOLIMIT!
Sales start date: From March 12 (Friday)
Universal Studios Japan

A “black filling” could be suggestive that this bun comes from the corrupted future of the LEGION timeline, and the black liquid metal has been extracted from fallen REV units. The name of the bun is also based on the Terminator score / theme by composer Brad Fiedel.

I didn’t realize that there was still a T2:3D operating in Japan! Nice to know that it isn’t completely gone from the Earth. I visited the Orlando attraction countless times, including on its second-to last day, which was bittersweet. Still hoping for a video release…
