Paramount Pictures unveiled new Terminator: Dark Fate footage at CinemaCon 2019 in Las Vegas today, as part of their upcoming slate of movies, and Collider was at the event to view the teaser firsthand.

It is unknown how long it will be before the wider audience gets the chance to see the footage but hopefully Terminator Fans won’t have to wait too long for that opportunity.

Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the event to crack some political jokes and share his enthusiasm for the the project; on display in the background was a new logo which looks reminiscent of the original James Cameron Terminator logos merged with the Terminator Genisys logo.

Linda Hamilton, Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis and Gabriel Luna are also winning an “ensemble award” for Terminator: Dark Fate.

The CinemaCon news comes after IGN’s Exclusive image reveal earlier in the day, giving fans worldwide a chance to see a proper official look at the movie.

We will continue making more Terminator: Dark Fate updates. Keep checking back for more.

    Update:

Jeff Sneider has a written run down of what he saw at the event and confirms Underwater Action and Plane Action for Terminator: Dark Fate.

The first scene we saw was Davis’ introduction. She’s a time traveler who arrives in Mexico City, promptly causing a car accident and falling off a bridge. After being rescued by a young couple, the police force surrounds them and starts making threats, prompting a still-nude Davis to start kicking ass. She neutralizes the threat and then takes her clothes from the male half of the couple, leaving him just his underwear. The scene establishes that Hamilton won’t be the only badass woman in the film, as Davis kicks a ton of ass here.

After that, we were treated to an action sequence that marks the return of Hamilton’s Sarah Connor, who rescues Davis (who seems resigned to be killed) and Reyes from Luna, pumping round after round into his body until he falls off a bridge right before reaching his targets. This time around, Hamilton is given the “I’ll be back” line… and a bazooka.

From there, it was an all-out assault on the senses as we caught glimpses of an underwater action scene, and one where Luna is hanging off a plane, Tom Cruise-style. Air, land, water — this movie has it all, and it looks like Miller pulled out all the stops and spared no expense. The footage ended with our first look at Arnold in all his Terminator glory.

Oh god, Mackenzie Davis nude? I’ll be covering my eyes at that point. She’s a flat chested a bean pole.

Sounds very intriguing. Sounds like we will have a minimum of 3 time travelers in this film. I have a hunch based off the images of McKenzie Davis’ we saw before that her character will be some sort of hybrid human with terminator tech in her amd that she is a resistance fighter who knows John and even knew Kyle Reese.

Additionally I’m very curious as to the color palette used for this movie and if Miller will implement a lot of those blue and silver hues into this film. I sure hope so as those colors are a classic staple towards capturing James Cameron’s tone amd feel of the first 2 film’s.

Lets hope for the very best for this new film.

The logo makes me think too much of Genisys copied too it’s a pity I would have preferred in the spirit of 1 and 2 of Cameron! : / hope that its not bad luck to the franchise to have a PG-13 Genisys!

I don’t see any resemblance to the Genisys logo. The Dark Fate logo looks very similar to the original logo with a few appropriate tweaks.
