Following NECA unveiling ‘Sarah Connor’ and ‘T800’ Terminator: Dark Fate collectibles; with Arnold’s T-800 ‘Carl’ complete with obligatory sunglasses, Terminator Fans began to wonder if the eye-wear featured on the T-800 figure would be used in the new Terminator movie (T:DF) – it now appears that a promo from Japan has the answer…
Unpainted T-800 ‘Carl’ Head Prototype Revealed Sunglasses to Terminator Fans

JAPAN Terminator: Dark Fate Promo Reveals Sunglasses on Schwarzenegger
This new trailer relies on nostalgia and an introduction from James Cameron.
Footage of James Cameron on the set of Alita: Battle Angel has also been used, despite fans knowing that James Cameron never visited the set of Terminator: Dark Fate and has stated that he left Tim Miller to his own devices.
Before the new footage of Linda jokingly jabbing Arnold in the arm whilst passing by him on the set, and the sunglasses reveal (remarkably feeling very Rise of the Machines in execution), Terminator Salvation music plays – which we found slightly odd… but hey, it is still the signature Brad Fiedel-esque sound/composition.

Notice how the promo left out the “It’s R rated” quote from Cameron at the beginning. 😬 yikes. Hopefully thats just for Japanese marketing purposes.
They want to go on with different people were they can come up with different and were they want to go with the movies with out the old cast in them to fix them this way to do it
scarps reporting, reporting on scraps.
this is embarrassing.
Terminator 6 is SO BLAAAAAAND!
Nevermind the stupid glasses, look at Arnold’s jacket and the weapons. This is what Terminator is now? It’s lost its soul and flavor, just like Disney Star Wars.
I want to see T-800 exoskeleton foot soldiers with phased plasma rifles, I don’t care if it doesn’t make sense. Gimme HKs, Centurions and tanks made with real miniatures and moody, metallic synth music. Give me the sterile, metallic, alien innards of SkyNet. Stop giving me this time travel and different timelines horseshit, it’s overdone.
