We previously stated that Terminator: Dark Fate would have a chance to take the number one position in the UK film charts – and it appears that the movie has done exactly that.
Terminator: Dark Fate initially debuted at number 3 in the charts for digital but The Official Charts UK combine digital and physical sales, so since the Blu-Ray and DVD hit stores it has bumped T:DF from last week’s number 4 position to the number one slot.

As we previously discussed, the competition wasn’t very strong but Terminator: Dark Fate has managed to knock JOKER off the top spot, though that doesn’t mean Joker; a movie which has shown staying power, can’t creep back up to the top as Terminator: Dark Fate’s home release in the United States shows a trend of dropping off the top spot and dropping down the chart positions fairly quickly. Regardless, this is a win for Terminator: Dark Fate fans and somewhat of a triumph for the studios in recouping some of the money lost by the studios/investors.

When are people going to realise that fan expectation is the real problem with blockbusters these days.
Dark fate was fine and to me the true 3rd installment.

Dark Fate ist an der Kinokasse gefloppt. Kein Produzent wird sich auf ein weiteres Kino-Experiment einlassen. Das freut mich als Fan von Filmen die Seele haben.

A few very small tweaks/adjustments for Dark Fate:
1# skip the whole opening beach 1998 scene, we learn of John’s death later in the motel.
2# the whole pointless teasing and misdirection of Dani’s role in the upcoming Future War eliminated throughout the film, all we need to know is that Dani is a high-value player in the future conflict, that’s it.
3# make it clear that the Rev-9 is starting to feel it’s injuries after the long fall into the waters, that it’s glitching and it’s getting harder and harder for it to control it’s Liquid shape-shifter mass properly (this should neatly explain why Rev-9’s liquid mass fails to escape in time the choke-holds of Carl and Grace when they drag in into the dam’s turbine)
3.5# quick skip of Carl wasting his opportunity to just the Rev-9’s endo into the Turbine when he has the chance.
