A new horror film, about a group of millennial friends trapped in an intense game of survival, has an amusing line of dialogue that many Terminator Fans should appreciate.

“I knew you were a psycho when you didn’t cry at the end of ‘Terminator 2.’ ”

    Triggered (2020)

    Terminator 2 Thumbs Up

Both Tim Miller and Linda Hamilton, for example, found the ending for T2 to be too sentimental, which is quite funny seeing as Tim Miller has a reputation for crying, though from the sounds of it… he didn’t for T2. Linda, on the other hand, was in T2, so of course it wouldn’t affect her in the same way that it would the average viewer.

Chances are there are plenty of people who didn’t cry at Terminator 2: Judgment Day’s ending, but we wouldn’t like to label people as “psycho” for not getting all teary-eyed at the conclusion of the movie, – though the line in the Triggered movie is pretty funny, and if you like movies like Saw and Battle Royale; then the movie looks like it could be fun.

The circumstances of the viewer could also alter their response to the scenes, as the movie is based on a father-son type of relationship; with Uncle Bob (Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800) providing John Connor, who has never had a father (as Kyle Reese sadly died at the end of the first movie), with an emotionally positive surrogate relationship. Regardless of if you have had a father in your life or not, it is something relatable and carries on that family dynamic that James Cameron incorporates into his movies to make us care about the characters.

No, I got angry (with a tear held back – does that count as crying?), as I knew the terminator was still needed, as some idiot left his arm in a massive cog.

Una mas reciente que me hiso llorar fue al final de Dark Fate cuando Carl(arnold) murio.
En ese momento si que llore.

It didn’t make sense when James Cameron both produced T2 & T6 Arnold’s Terminator characters had 2 different missions second T-800 protects John who terminates himself and the other kills him before sacrifice himself for saving Sarah and Dani’s lives from rev-9 and saying for John.
