Bam Margera Says Edward Furlong is Filming Terminator: Dark Fate

Edward Furlong has dropped out of “BELL COUNTY COMIC CON 3RD and 4TH”.
In one of the worst quality Instagram videos we’ve seen – Jackass star Bam Margera, made an announcement that he has replaced Furlong in the schedule as a guest for the event.

Bam said (Transcribed by TheTerminatorFans.com) :

“Goddamn. Here it is. I look like f*cking Giorgio Tsoukalos from National Geographic from uh… Ancient Aliens, yeah *laughs*. Due to my buddy Edward Furlong, uh, getting on to film the new Terminator movie – he can’t for a while; he can’t do the Comic-Con called uh, Bell County Comic-Con August 3rd and 4th, so I’ll be going on his behalf.
So, uh, check it out. Fcking phone.”

Bam could just be reacting to the latest news headlines which immediately followed the announcement James Cameron made at SDCC 2019.

The studios behind Terminator: Dark Fate may also want to let Edward Furlong’s return gain traction with prospective audiences and fans, instead of quashing any misunderstandings – due to Furlong’s involvement becoming a selling point, and now, also a point of controversy.

Controversy also being a potential reason as to why studios might be happy to arrange for Edward to drop out of some events and cover his pay/expenses to do so. THR recently brought up Edward’s rap sheet for past domestic violence – which appears to have gathered some momentum on social media.

    THR said:

“Fans of the highly anticipated installment, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, were thrilled. Those aware of Furlong’s checkered domestic violence past were concerned.”

    The Hollywood Reporter

THR reached out to Skydance and Paramount for comment over the return of Edward Furlong as John Connor and Eddie’s “checkered past”:

“Skydance Media, which is producing Dark Fate, declined to comment, as did Paramount. Furlong could not be reached for comment. (He does not currently have any listed representation.)”

    The Hollywood Reporter

Bloody Disgusting said that Edward Furlong’s role in Dark Fate is no more than assisting with the digital cameo involving child body double Jude Collie but Bam Marjera comments will obviously fuel more adult John Connor rumors.

We did speak to a source involved in the movie, and they said the reshoots were completed already, so unless there is additional secret filming taking place… it isn’t happening, and with a movie cited to be so diverse and female empowered – will the system really allow Edward Furlong to reclaim his hero status as an adult John Connor?

Thanks to “UncleBob” for the tip off of Bam Margera’s video.

People always bring up Edward Furlong’s domestic violence, while they CONVENIENTLY choose to ignore that the kid was scoped out by a female sexual predator at the age of 13 when filming T2, the cradlerobber Jackie Domac. No one brings her up, cause apparently she can get away with it in this #metoo environment, cause she’s a woman. So she’s beyond criticism. Hollywood is so fucked up.

Double-standards! My bullsgit alarm is going off like crazy!

No one brings her up because she isn’t relevant anymore. Being taken advantage of by a gold digger is no excuse to treat women like shit.

Dude…Edward! You got everything to gain! Could be the begining of you becoming a phoenix (in your career and in life). Second chances don’t come along too often. Take it and hold it dear. It can be done. Loom at RDJ! Guy was a phenomenal actor, made some mistakes, learned from them and made himself reborn. Look at him now! But he took his second chance serious. I know you can do the same. God speed!

Still say since no one likes “JOHN DEAD” idea, they’ll have him split from his mother to lessen chances of other Terminators finding them. This was already mentioned before and also leave door open for a storyline in full for John in other movies. Dark Fate just won’t focus on/involve his story. (I would have written this all so different, to save any of this last minute fixes.) (I would not have had “Carl selling draperies”,I would have simply had that T-800 meet them, once Cyberdyne’s hub was damaged enough, to protect them once again and to explain Skynet’s failsafes, cue anything you like….)

I like the idea because it Justifies Arnolds return more than it would be if he was sent back..yet again…as a protector sort. It gives Arnold a new and interesting Unit to play with some dimensions that would have been lacking if he were just bought back for the sake of it like T-Gen and T3. This series has always been about Sarah Connor, having her back is enough for me and the Draw of Arnold of course.
If they execute the scene of Johns death very well, then it will work for me. Will be reminisant of the end of American History X *spoiler warning* teenage Eddie furlong gets shot at the end of that film because of someone else’s actions.

If John dies, the trilogy dies.
