IDW Publishing in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics, have revealed two new covers for their upcoming comic miniseries ‘Transformers Vs The Terminator’, which is set to launch in March.

The T-800’s mission is simple: Exterminate the Cybertronians and ensure the future belongs to SKYNET. When Optimus Prime offers his aid, suggesting they go after Megatron together, the T-800 faces his toughest decision yet. Is the enemy of his enemy his friend, or just another threat to the mission?

Issue #3 (Cover A) by Gavin Fullerton:

The T-800’s mission has changed and now seemingly the 1984 villain is protecting Sarah Connor instead of Kyle Reese. To quote John Connor… “This is deep!”

Issue #3 (Cover B) by Andrew Griffith:

Does the appearance of the Terminator Genisys/Dark Fate Endoskeleton have some relevance to this story, or was it just the artistic choice/error of the artist? Are we crossing timelines or will this stay solely a ‘The Terminator’ story? Questions, questions and more questions…
